October 2009, readathon

Many thanks!

deweys-readathonbuttonThis read-a-thon thing takes a many, many hours, mostly behind the scenes, to pull off. I think I’m safe saying that all of us as co-hosts are amazed that Dewey once did this all by herself. We comfort ourselves with the fact that it has grown (by leaps and bounds) since then. At any rate, none of us could do it alone.

So, I’d like to take a moment and recognize those who have volunteered and worked alongside us to make this October 2009 read-a-thon a reality.

Before I’m finished here, I would be remiss if I didn’t give a shout out to our fourth, new, co-host this year. Eva has been a great addition to the read-a-thon team Trish, Nymeth and I have forged. We’re glad you’ve joined us, Eva!

Thank you, all of you, for all your help.

Now, back to the read-a-thon preparations! 😀 Less than 24 hours until the official start!

  1. A huge thank you to one and all. You all do a wonderful job organizing this great event and you deserve big time kudos.

  2. Thank you all for planning this read-a-thon. This is my first time participating in this read-a-thon. I’m very excited about it and looking forward to it! I really appreciate all of your hard work and planning.

  3. Thanks for the shout-out Hannah! 🙂 More importantly, I’d like to thank all of our behind-the-scene helpers as well!

  4. Do I have everything I need done to be part of the read-a-thon tomorrrow. I/m not sure if I have the link from my blog page up right. Kind of new to blogging.
What do I need to do to put your link on my page. Also are we supposed to be checking here tomorrow for the prize drawings. Or just posting on our blog by the hour about our progress.

  5. Heeeeeey… I’m missing a couple of thanks here… To you and Nymeth and Trish! Seriously, you three deserve to give yourself a pat on the back – the amount of work you’ve done is amazing. ^-^

  6. Shellie: I’ll check your link in a second and fix it if necessary 🙂 And yes, tomorrow you check here for updates about mini-challenges, giveaways, etc. You also update your blog with your progress, but neither need to be done every hour! Just whenever you feel like taking a break from reading. Each participants decides how often they want to update and how many mini-challenges they want to do.
