Hour 9 – High Hopes

Readerbuzz in Spring

It’s the top of Hour 9 and I’m delighted to be handed the car keys for the next two hours.

I’m Deb Nance from Readerbuzz and I’m amazed to report that this is my fifteenth (oh my!) readathon. I’m a Lark, not an Owl, so it will come as no surprise to you to learn that I’ve only made it all twenty-four hours one time. Sigh.

How about you? Do you think you’ll make it through?

I’m very hopeful this time. In fact, you might say that I have “High Hopes.” Here’s Frank to offer up a little Hour 9 inspiration.

So there we go. Cross your fingers for me and I’ll cross my fingers for you.

C’mon, ants, let’s move that rubber tree plant. Let’s go, rams, and we can bring down that dam. Vamos, readers, and let’s hang in there for the last (gulp!) sixteen hours!

  1. You’ve actually made it through a whole event once?? I’m so impressed! My longest is 21 hours. Fellow lark here…though my west coast 5am start time was too early even for me 🙂

  2. I’m a true night owl. So I hope I’ll get more reading done tonight. I keep closing my eyes!! I didn’t even wake til 11. I’ve never read for 24 hours, or even stayed awake the whole time. The last two, have gone well. Today….I’m just not in my grove. ????

  3. hello!! eyes getting a little dry now, but i will try my best to stay up, but need some sleep, as visiting my gran tomorrow, she will be 101!
Happy reading folks and short and snappy is the way to go!!
