Hour 23

You guys, look up there! it says HOUR 23. You know what that means? It means you are SOCLOSE to being done! What an acheivement and I am so happy to see so many of you still awake! 🙂

That being said, you’re either going to love or hate this picture. Me? I kind of want to see what happens if I try to remove a whole row. 🙂

Think it’ll fall on my head? 🙂

Right now I have a big mug of tea and a cat trying to crawl into my lap. He doesn’t understand that now is not the time for cuddles.

  1. I’d like to see what happens if I remove just a book or two. BTW that’s exactly what I would do if I saw something like that in person. I’m a danger to society. :p

  2. I’m peacing out. It’s been fun everybody and thanks to all the co-hosts and mini-challenge hosts and cheerleaders, etc, etc. My vision stopped focusing… not enough sleep, too much caffeine? It’s time for bed. 🙂

  3. I cannot believe that there are now less than two hours of the readathon. I got my second wind during the last hour and I felt like it was noon or something (I am West Coast so it is not even close to noon)! Anyway, way to be a great host. I have a cup of butter beer (as in from Harry Potter) and a couple of peeps. I overestimated how many snacks and drinks I would need. I didn’t even break into over half of them!

  4. Oh we are sooo close…it’s around six a.m here. Been up since 4 cheering and now about to try and read out until the end. We can do it. R-E-A-D.

  5. Allie – you’re a rockstar! Sick and hosting the final hours of the read-a-thon. I seriously can’t believe it. Good just everybody else too! Keep going!

  6. Hey guys-

I’m not sure what is going on with the doc. It is the first time using one (and my blog is on blogger), so I am sure it is my technical inability making it not work right. It’ll show for a minute or two then say “loading…”

I will make sure to let shesten know and it’ll be fixed later on. 🙂

  7. I actually started an hour early so this was my final hour 🙂 I did 15.5 hours total which is way better than my last time of 12—this was so much fun! Thanks Y’all!

  8. I would actually like to just pick one and see them all collapse, lol. Ihave always wanted to do that with displaysat the grocery store!

  9. I’m finally nearing the end of my book! Town is starting to wake up, traffic is picking up on the highway, the Sunday papers have been delivered…..I think I’m going to make it!

  10. Making another cup of tea and still going pretty well, but I’m seriously looking forward to going to sleep in about an hour and a half!

Allie, you are doing an outstanding job, my dear!
