Hour 21

Take a minute for an energizing meditation!

I am so impressed by how many people are still up – great job!!Β  Allie from A Literary Odyssey will be taking you home through the final hours of the Read a Thon – welcome Allie!

Mini-Challenges

Picturrific – Memory is the host and here is the description:

As a participant in the Picturiffic Mini-Challenge, you’ll hunt around on the internet for a picture (or pictures) that somehow reminds you of the book you’re currently reading. You should avoid the easy route, like cover art or film stills (if the book has been adapted for film or TV), but otherwise, anything goes. You can choose a portrait that reminds you one of the characters, a photograph that makes you think of the setting, or even a collage of found images that highlight particular themes, if you’re feeling ambitious. You should also post a brief explanation (1-2 sentences) of why you chose that particular image and how it relates to the text.

  1. HEY ALLIE! πŸ™‚ Great job, you’re still up and going strong! I really enjoyed your mini-challenge a while ago, I just wanted to wish you luck co-hosting! πŸ™‚

  2. Hi Alie–thanks for being here to get us down the home stretch. The link to the mini-challenge isn’t working, by the way! Back to our chips and dip–Sam and I have discovered if we eat, we can stay awake…..;)

  3. 20 hours down and only 4 left! I can’t believe how easy and fun this has been!! I’m already looking forward to the next read-a-thon!

  4. After 1 am and still going…may sound early to some of you, but when you start at 5am thats late.

P.S. – The mini challenge link doesn’t seem to be working πŸ™

  5. Thank you, Colleen! Welcome, Allie! I’m fading fast, but I’m determined to make it through these final four hours…!

  6. Those still going are really amazing, I could never do the full 24 hours! Thankfully I always have a night right in the middle of the read-a-thon. πŸ™‚
