Hour 18

You guys are doing great! I’m barely hanging on myself. It’s Vasilly still. Forgive me for the short post. Now might be the time to stretch or do some jumping-jacks to keep going!  I hope you guys are all curled up with an intense read to help you get through these late hours.

Mini-Challenge

Finally! The links are working! Head over to Courtney’s mini-challenge!  It’s called Classics Paranormal Mashup – head over and suggest your mashup!

Quirk Classics has become well known for such titles as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters, Android Karenina and the newest soon to be released The Meowmorphosis. So what do you think their next classic mash up should be? Well…that is your challenge if you choose to accept it.

  1. Vasilly – thank you SO much for stepping up – I lost wifi in my apt was not able to log on for about an hour. I am back online now and happy to take over from here!

  2. Thanks for being such a great impromptu co-host, Vasilly. You’re keeping us all awake! 😀

And I’m seriously thinking about taking that advice to do some jumping jacks or something.

  3. Thank you Vasilly and Welcome Colleen! Glad to see you are here! Have fun! These guys are awesome! 🙂

  4. Welcome back Colleen, and thanks Vasilly for taking over in a pinch. 😀

Now, I must do something to wake myself back up…

  5. Hey Vasilly! Just wanted to say you’re AWESOME! 🙂 I’ve seen you around since hour 1, and it seems you’re still going strong!! Keep up the great great work!! 😀

  6. This is awesome so far. I decided to share a favorite line from CoFA. “But it was mortality that made them what they were, the flame that blazed brighter for its flickering (p. 307).” Beautiful!!!

  7. Special thanks to Vasilly for her tireless efforts and short-notice hosting! And thanks to everyone else who has hosted, cheered, had mini-challenges, and donated prizes. It’s just fantastic to be part of a community of readers for a whole day, connecting with other book lovers *worldwide* who set aside time to read, but also to chat with and support one another, host bookish games, and give away prizes. My husband and sons don’t get it, but as a book lover with never enough time to read, I’m THRILLED to have the Read-a-Thon, and so so happy when I’m able to participate!!

Thanks again to all, and happy last hours of Read-a-Thon fun!!

  8. You did a great job stepping in at the last minute, Natasha, not to mention cheering on twitter through the whole day! We really appreciate it. <3
