Hour 15 – Trippy Times!

Hey, y’all!!! Andi from Estella’s Revenge here hosting this hour. Can you believe we’re already in Hour 15? While this is my first opportunity to step up as host, I’ve been lurking all day doing this and that behind the scenes. I don’t know about you, but at this point in the evening I’m ready to LAUGH (and possibly sway)!!! And grab another cup of coffee. Ahem!

And what could be more laughable than Jimmy Fallon impersonating Jim Morrison singing THE READING RAINBOW THEME SONG??!! I know, I could hardly believe it myself.

I’ll see you guys again in Hour 19, but for now here’s what’s shakin’ around the Read-a-Thon!

  1. Thanks! Oh so excited I won the mini-challenge…I knew that Mr. Darcy dream would get me somewhere although I assure the dream was quite nice in itself! πŸ˜‰

  2. Tea- I too chose a 600+ page book and have yet to finish it…getting there but I know how you feel. But we have tackled a huge undertaking….think quality not quantity!

  3. Ha ha, that is freaking brilliant! I miss the heck out of Reading Rainbow! Little brag here: My youngest was a top ten story writer for the Reading Rainbow writing contest. She was in Kindergarten at the time…awwwww πŸ˜€

  4. Love this video! Fallon cracks me up.

I’m fading fast, but I knew I wouldn’t last a full 24 hours. Off to bed to read for a bit. Thanks for hosting, Andi! Good luck!!

  5. Thanks for sharing the video! Hilarious and fantastic πŸ™‚ Now, back to reading Almost Home by Joan Bauer…
