Hour 13 – Buying all the books for Dewey’s

We’re in hour 13!

I’m Dana and I’ll be with you for the next few hours. Dewey’s is my most favorite bookish event and I’m so happy that I’m back to co-host. Having 24 hours devoted to JUST READING *angels singing* is a really good excuse to get a new book or 10 so I bought a couple specifically for the readathon. Not that we need excuses to buy books, though, am I right?!

So tell me…anyone else buy any specifically for Dewey’s?

Don’t forget to get a drink and move around for a few minutes. Then get back to enjoying your reading 🙂

  1. I buy books because I’m a book junkie, lol! I did buy an audiobook specifically to have as a back-up in case the main book I chose for the read-a-thon didn’t keep me satisfied.

  2. For the first time in a long time, I don’t have anything new on my Kindle. I usually get a few to read on their when I want to shut the lights off. It rests my eyes a bit to read on there too. My Kindle is probably feeling a bit left out this time around!

  3. I spent 2 weeks in NYC this summer and I can proudly – and a bit shamefully – say that i bought 26 books and brought all of them back with me to Denmark… Some of the books I’m trying to read during Read-a-thon, but I probably won’t manage all 26 😉

  4. Oh wow! That’s amazing! Hopefully you’re enjoying what you’ve gotten to so far. What a great trip!

  5. I bought The Road to Little Dribbling, Bill Bryson’s latest. It’s making me laugh, which helps me stay awake! And by-the-way, love the Dos Equis guy!
