Hour 11: Make a Wish!

Well hello there reading machines! You’ve reached HOUR 11! Good work!
I’m Cass of Bonjour, Cass! (on Twitter I’m @bonjourcass) and I’ll be your overenthusiastic host for the next four hours. I’ll warn you in advance: I like delicious food, cats, sparkly things, and humorous anecdotes about paper cuts brought on by too much page turning (okay, maybe that bit isn’t true). If you have any readathon questions, comments, concerns, or links to humorous videos, you can email deweyreadathon @ gmail . com or tweet @readathon, and I will do my best to respond quickly and with minimal use of exclamation points.

(This song is in my head and won’t leave, so I thought I’d share it with all of you. You’re welcome.)

Up this hour, we have:

NEW EXCITING Mini-Challenge

Jehara over at Quirky Girls Read is hosting a BOOK TRAILER themed mini-challenge. If you win, I’ll give you an high-five. OVER THE INTERNET. Granted, Jehara’s prize will be a million times better–and open internationally!, but I don’t give internet high-fives to just anyone. So. There’s that.

  1. Sadly I am starting late, but its better than not participating at all. For the next seven hours I will be a reading machine!!

    Happy Reading everyone!!

(a list of books I am reading are located on my blog)

  2. Welcome, Cass! I like cats and sparkly things too. And I totally agree, the cheerleaders are fantastic! Almost halfway already…kind of unbelievable!

  3. I think the challenge is awesome for this hour. I guess I am going to have to learn how to insert videos into blog posts. I love learning something new. I am starting my third book.

  4. Bienvenue 😉
Thanks for hosting, very much appreciated!
I wasn’t following you yet on twitter apparently but now I am.
    Happy Readathon!

  5. The book I’m reading right now it’s sort of depressing, sprinkled with beautiful turns of phrase… simply lovely. 🙂 I never want it to end.

    Just felt like sharing that.
