April 2016

Hour 1 – No Rules. Just Read.

Good morning, good evening, or good night! Welcome to the April 2016 edition of Dewey’s 24 hour readathon! Andi and I are SO STOKED you are here and ready to read ALL DAY LONG with us!!

Couple things to remember.

  1. Someone will be here all day. Someone will be on Twitter (at our @readathon account) all day. Someone will be at Facebook and Goodreads all day. If you need us; holler.
  2. There are no rules. Make the readathon YOUR readathon.
  3. And most of all:

  1. Opening Meme

    1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?

    Auburn, Alabama

    2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?

Finishing “The Danish Girl” by David Ebershoff.

    3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?

    COFFEE! And maybe some fruit.

    4) Tell us a little something about yourself!

Reader. Writer. Journalism student. Book blogger. ‘Bout to participate in my 3rd Dewey’s! Woo hoo 🙂

    5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?

More cheerleading this time and I’m hosting 2 hours on different sites, so I’m excited to be more involved! Hope to get as much reading done as possible for me (because I’m such a slow reader). No rushing through reading…I don’t think I’m capable of that anyway!

    3 minutes to start!
