April 2015: Reader Sign Ups!

Helloooooooooooooooo, everybody! Today is the day! Reader sign-ups are here, and we are so excited you’re joining us for the April 25, 2015 Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-Thon!

There will be MUCH more coming up in the next few weeks. We’ll have cheerleader sign-ups, prize donations, videos, warm-up posts! Stay tuned! You don’t want to miss a thing!

We’ve also ditched our linky this year! You’ll sign up using the form below. REMEMBER: Sign up with the account you’ll be using during the readathon: blog, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, YouTube or whatever, but you should sign up using the account you want others to see and visit because we realize not everyone has a blog!

  1. Yaaaaaaaaayyyyyy!! Just signed up. My girls and I will be reading, but with interruptions (Who schedules a piano recital during readathon?!? Sheesh! 😉 I may have to sneak a book into the recital…)
Thanks so much for all the hard work y’all put into this every year – we really appreciate it!

  2. SUSANNNN! Was going through sign-ups earlier and saw that you’re already onboard. Makes me so happy! <3

  3. So glad you continue to put all the effort into this reading extravaganza! It much appreciated, and now my son and his girlfriend join me. It’s simply wonderful.

  4. I’ve missed out on the past couple of Dewey’s because of school and I can’t tell you how sad that made me. I love this readathon! So, despite this being the last weekend of school (and when I’ll have final projects to finish), I’m signing up. Just in case I can finish up everything ahead of time because what better way to celebrate the end of grad school than with my favorite readathon!!

  5. Awww, thank you, dear friend! I’m so happy your son and his girlfriend are joining in! Tell them I said HI!

  6. Now that I’ve filled out the form … I think I already signed up a few days ago?? SORRY IF I’M IN THERE TWICE. ???? Also, will there be a post for prize donations? I’ve got a few YA novels in super new condition I was thinking of donating!

  7. I’m planning on using twitter and my blog during the readathon – can I put down both accounts or should I just put down my blog?

  8. No worries, Christina! I’m going through the form and deleting duplicates as I find them, so if it’s in there twice, that’s no biggy. Also, the prize donation form is up now! Thank you for your generosity!

  9. You can put both in different fields. Be sure the put the place you’d like cheerleaders to visit in the final blank field.

  10. Ugh – this would have been my 10th RAT in a row, but I’m traveling that weekend. I’ll try to pop in and do a bit of cheering (#Teamrogue) – just can’t resist participating in some way. Such a WONDERFUL event. Is it too early to plan my books for October?!

  11. I’m so excited to be able to participate again. I said no on the form about being a cheerleader but I’ll be cheering with #teamrogue.

  12. It’s never too early to plan! I’m sorry you can’t join us full-on, but we’re glad to have you in ANY capacity!

  13. Ahh! Apparently it signed me up a bunch…strange.
I’m so excited to participate in this! It falls perfectly with my April vacation, so I’ll be able to put all of my teacherly duties aside and get some reading done!

  14. Just signed up for my first time doing Dewey’s 24 hour readathon! According to the time schedule, I’ll be starting at 5AM so I better set my alarm. 🙂 Can’t wait! Just have to figure out what I want to read for it and try to finish up my current reads before then; or else I’ll just end up finishing them lol. Can’t wait!

  15. I also just signed it as a reader and a cheerleader ! It is my first time so I really exciting! Eventhough English is my second language ,I still want to read those novel in English version. It would be more challenging. So I still keep finding books which is not so difficult to read and appealing at the same time ,like the hunger games!!! Really enjoy that book ! Any recommends will be appreciated!

  17. How do I add additional ways to update? I’m so excited to join this Read-a-thon for the first time! I’d like to update on twitter, instagram, and facebook! 🙂

  18. omgggg just signed up! is so excited (and a little nervous too). Now I need to start looking for books to read @ saturday. Pepp!!!

  19. I just signed up! This will be my fifth time doing the read-a-thon, all of them with my now seven year old participating alongside me. We are both excited!

  20. You can only choose one that you submit to us because we can only cover so much ground. We have 1,300+ readers, so that’s a wee bit overwhelming if we let folks provide multiple platforms. Thanks for understanding! <3

  21. My first ever readathon. Pretty exciting, and pretty terrifying 😀

The timing of this is super fun! I just started a new blog (with two friends), after being out of the blogging game for a little while. What a great way to kickstart things!

    Wish me luck.

  22. Hi there! I am so excited to participate in my first 24 hour readathon 🙂
I ended up filling out the form twice…sorry! I used my YouTube link the first time, but then I realized I would be updating more on my Twitter, so I filled it out a second time with that info. I wasn’t sure if there was a way to delete my first entry.

Anyways, thanks so much for hosting this wonderful readathon!
